Well, I am back from sunny Puerto Rico and I had an absolute blast! The weather was lovely, though it became overcast every day in the afternoon, it happened right when it would have been unbearably hot otherwise. I've included a picture above of the view outside the restaurant in the hotel where we stayed.
We had a street party in old San Juan, danced in the rainforest amidst the sounds of thousands of coqui frogs in the background, and dined at Tantra, an award winning Indo-latino restaurant with one of the best belly dancers in the World performing right at each of our tables.
Despite the amazing time I had, I must admit it is good to be home. Here's a picture of the view outside the window of the plane flying over the West Coast of Canada. Back to life...back to reality...back to snow! :)

Welcome back and I'm glad you had a good time.
I definitely did though I wish I had more time for sightseeing...but I was too busy with the conference. Maybe I will go back with the family, since the people are very friendly, the food is delicious and the view is to die for!
Welcome back! It sounds like a really nice trip even if it was a non-vacation event. I like the images both of PR and Canade. I never get that good shots from airplane windows, maybe I have to buy the clean window add-on.

@amraphael, thanks for the compliments on the airplane pic - at close-up you can see the dirty window but not as bad as I thought it would be.
@jclef - thanks and it is actually good to be back since I missed everyone! I loved the snowy mountain pics too but the sunny pics remind me of the fun I had in PR...
